Themes & Writers

The International Committee gathered in Brazil, in 2017, and considered all the applications for the future theme and writers sent by the National/Regional Committees. A theme, based on the world context and prayer concerns of the movement, together with the Bible text were selected to guide the worldwide annual program. The writer committees were also selected. The Worship Service and Resource Materials are developed ecumenically and collectively in coordination with the
World Day of Prayer International Committee.
