National Committees
Within many different contexts, World Day of Prayer National/Regional Committees organize themselves in a way that
engages their strengths, and their resources for collaboration and for building sustainable networks.
In order for a Committee to bring a worship service from another part of the world to their local communities,
the members embark on an annual journey. The annual preparation of this worship service requires love, care and vision.
Over the years we are gaining an ever growing and deepening understanding of the
global and ecumenical community as a dynamic unity made visible on the first Friday of March, our common day of prayer.
To join World Day of Prayer, to participate in the program, to learn the prayers, concerns and ways to be in
solidarity with, please click on the contact link of the country of your preference or contact us.
