International Committee
The worldwide growth of the World Day of Prayer movement called for international involvement in planning promoting, educating, celebrating, and searching ways to support women and communities in need. An International Committee was formed in 1968 and has met every four years when representatives of National/Regional Committees gathered in a different area of the world. The last meeting was held in Foz do Iguaçu, Brazil, in 2017, and the next one will be held in Scotland in 2022.
